Simply perfect!
What's wonderful about this film, is that, unlike other musicals/films-with-songs (in which the soundtrack was recorded before the shooting and the performer had to mime to their own singing), this was recorded (as Barbra insisted) at the same time as the filming, so we are basically watching a live performance.
I think it adds so much to the "Rock" feel of the film.. it's so genuine- and that's what makes it so beautiful and moving..
Simply wonderful.

I HAVE seen Barbra perform live, in Madison Sq Garden, NYC, and she is every bit what you would imagine. I get tears in my eyes just remembering. The entire crowd was mesmerized. NO ONE can EVER come close to her voice, no one.

Absolutely perfect.. Well put westendbaby. One of most favorites. Barbra at her one her finest moments. I love this song and Barbra Streisand. One of my theme songs
